Privacy Policy

NapNanny is a baby sleep, feed and nappy tracker. It is built so that the information you record never leaves your phone. We do not run servers that store your data, and we have no way to read it.
The short version. We collect nothing. Everything you log stays in the app's private storage on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no trackers.
What the app stores, and where
NapNanny records what you enter: sleep times, feeds including breast side and bottle amounts, nappy changes, your baby's name and date of birth if you choose to add them, and your settings. It also stores the date you first opened the app, which is what the free trial counts from.
All of this is written to a database inside the app's own storage area on your phone. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared with anyone. We never see it.
Information about your child
The app is used by parents and carers to record information about an infant. That information is entered by you, stays on your device, and is treated exactly like everything else described here: never transmitted to us and never shared with third parties.
What we do not do
- No user accounts, sign-up or login.
- No analytics, usage tracking or crash reporting that identifies you.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No selling or sharing of personal information, because we do not receive any.
- No location, contacts, microphone or camera access.
Importing and exporting
You can import a CSV export from another tracking app, and export your own data as a CSV file at any time, including before you buy and after the trial ends. Importing reads a file you pick. Exporting hands a file to your phone's share sheet. Where that file then goes is entirely your choice, and anything you send it to is governed by that service's own privacy policy, not ours.
Payment
NapNanny is free for fourteen days. After that, a single payment unlocks it permanently on your device. Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or handle your card details. The store tells the app whether a purchase exists so it can unlock; it does not give us your identity.
Deleting your data
Open Settings in the app and choose Delete all data to erase every entry immediately. Uninstalling NapNanny also removes its storage from your phone. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for you to ask us to delete, and nothing we could recover for you. Export first if you want to keep a copy.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal information held about you. Because NapNanny holds your information only on your own device and we hold none of it, you exercise all of those rights directly in the app, through the export and delete options above.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a future version were to send any data off your device, we would say so here clearly and ask for your consent first.
